Apayao Province Trip

Walang Aayaw sa...APAYAO!





LOCATION:
Apayao is a landlocked province in the region of Cordillera. Its new capital is Luna. Prior to 1995, Kalinga and Apayao comprised a single province named Kalinga-Apayao, which was partitioned to better service the needs of individual ethnic groups.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Air...
Fly to Tuguegarao, Cagayan and travel to Junction Luna, Abulug, Cagayan, ride a jeepney to Luna or Pudtol, Apayao
Land...
From Manila, ride a Victory Liner bus going to Tuguegarao, Cagayan and travel to Junction Luna, Abulug, Cagayan, ride a jeepney to Luna or Pudtol, Apayao.

Kalinga is a landlocked province in the region of Cordillera Administrative Region. Its capital is Tabuk. Kalinga and Apayao are the result of the 1995 partitioning of Kalinga-Apayao

Land...
From Manila, ride a Victory Liner bus (Kamias Terminal) going to Tabuk City. The trip takes 11 hours.

This coffee is made from the civet cat coffee bean. The Forbes Magazine
has tagged the civet cat coffee as the most expensive coffee in the world.

Food...
Rice cakes can be seen throughout the province. Pancit Batil Patong is also famous for travelers.


Kalinga Tattoos...
In the village of Buscalan, many ancient tattoo artists can be seen there. The most famous Kalinga tattoo artist is Fang-od. She uses ancient way of aking tattoos to her clients.
